Radical Wholeness: The Embodied Present and the Ordinary Grace of Being
by Philip Shepherd
published by North Atlantic Books
paperback, 306 pages
This book diagnoses some of humaity's ills as being due to the fact that we tend to be 'whole-blind', living predominantly in our heads and separated in many ways from our bodies. Philip Shepherd writes about embodied intelligence being a part of living gracefully as a whole being. There's a lot more to this book than that, but it is diffiuclt to summarise as it is quite dense, and he draws on many different paradigms. It's not a light read, but it is worth it!
